ABSENTEE BALLOT BY MAIL - HAND DELIVERY

For the November 3, 2020 general election, the hand-delivery period has been extended.  You may deliver your own personal ballot, not a ballot for another individual, to the Elections Department at 1112 Santa Fe Dr, Weatherford during regular business hours any time after you receive and mark the ballot. 

You will be asked to sign a roster to record acceptance of your ballot and you will be asked to present an acceptable form of photo ID.  If you do not possess and cannot reasonably obtain an acceptable form of photo ID, you can execute a Reasonable Impediment Declaration and provide a supporting form of identification.  

 

Per proclamation of Gov. Abbott on Monday, July 27, 2020, voters may hand deliver their own marked mail ballot to the Elections Department during business hours. Photo ID laws are applicable to all voters that hand deliver their ballots. Ballots may be hand-delivered as soon as it has been received and voted. Voters may also use a contract courier (like FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) to return their ballot to us. 

 NOTA: Según la proclamación del gobernador Abbott el lunes 27 de julio de 2020, los votantes pueden entregar personalmente su propia boleta de correo marcada al Departamento de Elecciones durante las horas de trabajo. Las leyes de identificación con foto se aplican a todos los votantes que entregan personalmente sus boletas. Las boletas se pueden entregar personalmente tan pronto como se hayan recibido y votado.

In order to apply for Ballot by Mail you must print and mail this application to the Elections Office, or bring in your own application in-person before Early Voting begins.
