RECORDING OF MARKS AND BRANDS 

It’s time to renew your brand!  If you currently have a mark or brand recorded with the Parker County Clerk’s office you should have received a renewal notice and a Brand Key.  Your marks or brands can be renewed electronically on or after September 1, 2021, by clicking the link below.  You will need your brand key to complete the process.  

We have noticed some inconsistencies with the brand keys (provided to us from the Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association) as you may have received more keys than needed.  If this is the case disregard the key that has “other” in the Species Location. If you need assistance with your Brand Key please call my office.

Per Article 144.044 of the Agriculture Code, ALL Marks, Brands, and Tattoos previously filed will expire on August 31, 2021.  Any previously recorded Marks, Brands, or Tattoos not recorded by February 28, 2022, will be eligible for registration by another person on a first come basis. 

As a reminder, the renewal period is September 1, 2021 through February 28, 2022.  Once your brand has been submitted and reviewed by the County Clerk you will receive a confirmation email and a certificate of re-registration.  If you are unable to re-register your brand online, you are welcome to re-register your brand in person in the County Clerk’s office located at 1112 Santa Fe Drive, Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.  

If you plan to re-register in person, please don’t feel like you HAVE to renew your brand on the first day of registration as we have over 1,000 brands to renew.  We are trying to avoid large groups as we have limited access to computers to assist you.  The renewal period is six months.

Working directly with the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) and Collin County the Parker County Clerk’s office is offering on-line renewal. We are only one of about 15 counties statewide offering this service.   You can renew your brand using the link below.  If you need assistance you are welcome to renew your brand in person in the County Clerk’s office.  You will need your brand key that you received in the mail and access to your email account to complete the process.
