SUMMARY OF COMMISSIONERS COURT MEETING - JULY 11, 2016

• Agreed to enter into discussions to contract with ESD 1 to assume responsibility for fire dispatch services.

• Authorized County Judge to sign tax resale deeds.

• Notified residents Precinct 3 will be pushing a fence row to improve visibility at 2151 Thompson Road.

• Approved all preliminary plats.

• Accepted Maintenance Letter of Credit and released Construction Letter of Credit for Cooperstown, Phase II located in Precinct 1.

• Held public hearing and approved plat revision in a subdivision known as Crooked Creek Ranch located on Tidwell Road in Precinct 3.

• Authorized County Judge to execute the contract with Parkhill, Smith and Cooper for Planning Consultant for Parker County Building Space.

• Accepted bond for Kim Rivas, Parker County Purchasing Agent.

• Approved application by North Rural Water Supply Corporation to lay and maintain a water line through right of way of Norman Drive in Precinct 3.


• Authorized County Judge to post position for Employee Benefits Coordinator which will become vacant Jan. 1, 2017.

• Released claims for windshield damage for Kenny Norton.

• Reclassified one Operator 1 position currently budgeted at $51,039 to an operator 2 position at $43,858.00 in Precinct 3.

• Waived 10 day job posting for operator 2 position in Precinct 3 and Operator 1 position in Precinct 4.

• Held public hearing and approved installing stop signs along Miramar Circle in Precinct 1.

• Held public hearing and approved order for abandonment of LaShae Court located in Precinct 1.

• Accepted into the minutes the annual inventory report for Parker County, the interlocal agreement with City of Springtown for FM 51 and Highway 199 and with City of Weatherford for Greenwood Signal Improvements.

• Heard monthly report on traffic counter at Ric Williamson Memorial Highway and I-20 for the month of June.

• Approved payment to McMahon Construction in the amount of $34,465.40 for project 4.04.

• Approve agreement for Parcel 3 on the Spring Creek Bridge.

• Denied payment to Frontier for a telephone pedestal damage claim that was improperly installed.
