Parker County has unveiled its website redesign, with a more modern look and new features, which can be found at www.parkercountytx.com.
Parker County Judge Mark Riley said he expects the new website to be more “user friendly” and showcase the services provided by Parker County government.
“First of all, it is a more modern looking design than what we had,” he said. “In addition, I think this site works and looks better on mobile devices than our previous site."
The site’s redesign offers users the ability to sign up for email and text notification of press releases, meetings, bid postings and job openings amongst other features.
“This site also showcases our financial transparency with our budget and tax rate information as well as our check registers so our taxpayers can see where their money is being spent,” Riley said. “Of course the ability to view Commissioners Court meetings remains, as well as all the other tools that were part of the past site.”
Riley said the new site will also come with a Parker County App in the near future. The app is currently in the design phase and will allow users to take care of certain county business in quick fashion without having to use their browser and going to the actual website.
