I live on Mineral Wells Hwy and was recently contacted by my trash service provider about moving my dumpster that sits just outside my fence. The new Right of Way Coordinator, Michelle Neddles, has imposed a new rule. We tried to contact her three times now but she does not answer her phone, so we leave a message. We would like to explain our situation. We will have to move our electric line at our expense, and give access to our yard to meet her new standards. We feel this is an unfair hardship to place on tax paying citizens who are using land that is serving no other purpose for trash receptacles that are not fixed like the other items that are not allowed to be placed on county property. (shrubs, concrete structures, signs, etc.) My husband mows that property, and we keep the area clean. If there were any need for work to be done or such, the dumpster can easily move. We ask that you please reconsider your new rule and take into account the taxpayers of your area.
